Why Canal Walk's Kart Racing Should Be Right At The Top Of Your Bucket List
On Friday the 14th of June I went kart racing at Century Karting, which is an indoor go-karting track located in the Canal Walk parking area between the Honda and Golf shop. Ticket prices ranged between R195 for beginners and R400 for experts. Beginners would have 6 minutes racing time on the track and experts 15 minutes. My family and I decided to opt for the beginner's option since it was our first time and not having any previous experience when it comes to kart racing. The waiting time was approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, but there were plenty of things to do in the meantime. There was a shop for customers to fill up on snacks while they wait and I decided to make the most of it and buy me a coffee and a packet of Maynards sweets. There was also a pool board and different arcade games to keep customers occupied during the waiting time. The customer service was also excellent, because they held a small meeting with all the customers beforehand and let them know all the rules...
